Bioresource Technology has supplied Basematrix materials the to IVD industry for over 25 years.  Over this time period we have diversified our product offerings while staying within our area of core competency.  This diversification allows our customers to consolidate vendors and work with BRT on a variety of products.  Customer demand played a vital role in shaping our diversification.

Our experience in developing and manufacturing Basematrices lead directly to the development of three FDA approved Control products as well as numerous Proficiency and Linearity panels.  BRT is proud to offer a wide variety of products in this area.

With a very large quantity of delipidated plasma and serum products being manufactured annually, recovering these lipids and purifying the HDL and LDL Cholesterol into functional materials for use in the production of controls and similar products, was a logical progression.  After years of product development, we are confident that we have a superior product in the marketplace. 

While BRT has become known for our “Negative” pools, the need to add Disease State plasma products to the portfolio emerged.  We can offer these materials in a competitive market thanks to our strong relationships directly with many of the nations blood collection centers.  In addition, our large in-house screening programs assist in our search for hard to find materials. 

These relationships with blood collection centers also allows significant access to raw plasma, off the clot serum,  human serum albumin, gamma globulin and many similar items.  These items can be sourced to meet your specific needs on a consistent basis.

Substrates and diluents have been an area of growth here at BRT over the past several years.  With a solid foundation in development of particular Chromagenic Substrate products, we can customize our formulation to meet just about any need.
